1.What are the applications of the muffle furnace?
Muffle furnace is a universal heating equipment,It has a wide range of applications:
(1) Thermal processing, industrial workpiece processing, cement, building materials industry, thermal processing or treatment of small workpieces.
(2) Pharmaceutical industry: used for drug inspection, pretreatment of medical samples, etc.
(3) Analytical chemistry industry: as sample processing in water quality analysis, environmental analysis and other fields. It can also be used for petroleum and its analysis.
(4) Coal quality analysis: used to determine moisture, ash, volatile content, ash melting point analysis, ash composition analysis, and elemental analysis. It can also be used as a general-purpose ashing furnace.

2.What should I pay attention to when using the muffle furnace?
(1) The working environment requires no flammable and explosive materials and corrosive gases. It is forbidden to directly pour various liquids and molten metals into the furnace, and always keep the furnace clean.
(2) The furnace temperature shall not exceed the maximum furnace temperature during use, and shall not work for a long time at the rated temperature. During the experiment, the user is not allowed to leave and pay attention to temperature changes at any time. If an abnormal situation is found, the power should be cut off immediately and repaired by professional maintenance personnel.
(3) When using, the furnace door should be closed and opened slightly to prevent damage to the parts. The crucible tongs should be handled gently when taking samples to ensure safety and avoid damage to the furnace.
(4) Do not open the furnace door after the temperature exceeds 600 degrees. Wait for the temperature in the furnace to cool down before opening the furnace door.
(5) After the experiment is completed, the sample is withdrawn from heating and the power is turned off. When placing the sample in the furnace, the furnace door should be opened slightly. After the sample has cooled down, the sample should be carefully clamped to prevent burns.
(6) The heated crucible should be transferred to a desiccator for cooling, and placed on a buffer refractory material to prevent moisture absorption and explosion.
(7) When handling the muffle furnace, pay attention to avoid serious resonance, and place it away from flammable, explosive, water and other items. It is strictly forbidden to lift the furnace door to avoid damage to the furnace door.
