Centrifuges - Centrifuge Manufacturers

A centrifuge is a machine that uses centrifugal force to separate components of liquid and solid particles or a mixture of liquid and liquid. Centrifuges are mainly used to separate solid particles and liquids in suspension or to separate two liquids in emulsions that have different densities and are incompatible with each other.

Taking advantage of the different sedimentation speeds of solid particles with different densities or particle sizes, the sedimentation centrifuge can also classify solid particles according to density or particle size.

ZZKD laboratory equipment manufacturers can produce large centrifuges with a maximum capacity of 300L, which is very suitable for industrial-level production activities.

Large-capacity centrifuges can be divided into industrial centrifuges and basket centrifuges. The centrifuges we produce meet the GMP specifications and can also be used in food and pharmaceutical production.

Industrial centrifuges can be divided into filter centrifuges, sedimentation centrifuges and separators according to their structure and separation requirements.

Industrial-scale centrifuges have a cylinder, called a rotating drum, that rotates at high speed about its axis, usually driven by an electric motor. After the suspension (or emulsion) is added to the drum, it is quickly driven to rotate at the same speed as the drum, and the components are separated and discharged separately under the action of centrifugal force. Generally, the higher the drum speed, the better the separation effect.

Basket centrifuge is mainly composed of a drum, a transmission base, a base, an inner casing, an outer casing and an upper cover. The inner surface of the cone-shaped drum is equipped with a filter screen and a distributor is installed in the middle. The material enters the distributor from the feeding tube installed on the same axis as the coaxial center of the drum. The solid phase material is moved to the big end on the screen to complete the dehydration, and the material is discharged by inertia. The solid material is collected through the annular channel between the inner casing and the outer casing.
