Essential oil extraction equipment is one of our main products. It is used to extract essential oils from various plants and foods. Its main body is made of 304 stainless steel, with a special distillation system and condenser design, which can extract essential oils efficiently. Our products are sold to North America, South America, South Africa and other regions. Here are some common essential oil extraction methods:
Compared with the distillation method and the extrusion method, this extraction method is relatively expensive, because the process is complicated and the output of the extracted essential oil is relatively small.Solvent extraction is mostly used for the extraction of delicate and fragile plant petals or resins that do not like heat sources.
First, the solvent of carbohydrates such as petroleum or benzene is used to extract the volatile and non-volatile essence components of plants after crushing; Then the extracted mixture is filtered again with a solvent, and after the solvent evaporates, a semi-solid waxy substance containing alcohol is produced; Finally, the components of the essential oils are selectively extracted from the waxy substance with alcohol to obtain high-quality, high-concentration plant essential oils. Therefore, for the same plant parts, the components of essential oils obtained by solvent extraction will be somewhat different, and of course their price points will also be different.
Solvent extraction is used to extract plant flowers, petals, flower buds and other parts. The product after the first extraction is called "Concrete".If the natural secretions of plants, such as gum, resin or tree ointment, are extracted, the first product is called "resinoid".After extracting the first product "resin" or "fat" with alcohol or alcohol again, the second stage final product obtained is called Absolute. Finally, use volatile pure alcohol to wash off the oil in the balsam to obtain refined and expensive absolute oil.
Supercritical extraction method:
Principle: Supercritical carbon dioxide has special solubility for plant essential oils, and its solubility is related to density, and the density can be adjusted by temperature and pressure to precipitate essential oils.
Process: Use specific equipment to make carbon dioxide reach a supercritical state (temperature above 32°C, pressure above 7.2 MPa), extract essential oil from the material, and then separate the essential oil through temperature and pressure. Therefore, supercritical extraction consists of two processes: extraction and separation.
Sub-critical fluid extraction method:
Sub-critical fluid extraction technology uses sub-critical fluid as the extractant. In a closed, oxygen-free, low-pressure pressure vessel, based on the principle of similar compatibility of organic matter, the extraction material and the extractant are immersed in the process In the molecular diffusion process, the fat-soluble components in the solid materials are transferred to the liquid extractant, and the extractant is separated from the target product through the process of vacuum evaporation, and the target product is finally obtained.
